Academic Programs
Mandarin Language: We begin with simple words and phrases around daily
life and introduce children to practical conversational skills and an early reading
program. We integrate a “Sing Along, Learn Mandarin” preschool program into everyday
learning.
English Language: Children begin with the alphabet and learn to develop
early literacy skills, such as phonics, vocabulary, reading, writing and speaking.
Math & Thinking: Children begin by recognizing numbers, learning simple
math concepts and develop the skills necessary for problem solving. The program
also teaches concepts like telling time, graphing, measuring, and more.
Creative Art and Drawing: Children develop creativity and imaginative
expression, as well as a basic knowledge of the elements of art, such as color,
shape, line and space, by making arts & crafts, drawing pictures and building 2-D
or 3-D models.
Music & Movement: Children learn to distinguish pitch, rhythm and
tempo, timbre and volume. They learn to sing a repertoire of songs and action games,
along with body movement.
Science & Technology: Children begin with exploration of the computer,
its technology, and scientific method to open a world of discovery for a young child.
World & Me (Social): We introduce children to the real world and help
them deal with daily situations and understand different relationships among people.
Character Education: We teach essential social skills that are useful
in later life and help build children’s characters so that they will thrive in the
world, e.g. learning to share, developing friendships, and respecting others.
JINGBAOTM offers age-appropriate programs for all young children:
Preschool Program (2.5-3.9 yrs)
The PK programs include many educational, fun-loving, hands-on learning experiences
that will prepare young children for independence in everyday life. The classroom
is designed to promote individual choice, and opportunities for co-operative learning
experiences, both teacher-directed and child-centered in a full immersion (80%
Mandarin) environment. Students will be exposed to many discovery learning
centers, materials and activities that will enhance his/her development in all the
different areas: intellectual, language, social, emotional and physical.

Enriched Kindergarten (4-6yrs)
The Kindergarten program follow the same criteria as the Preschool program, but
at more advanced levels. The programs are designed to further engage students to
learn Mandarin in a dual immersion (70% Mandarin) environment, but also to prepare
them for school with a focus on reading, math, and art. Children will have the opportunity
to enhance their ability in all the areas of development through a variety of carefully
planned activities in both English and Mandarin.

years ago when she was just three years old, because we think it will be great for
