What is HSK
The Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) is China's national standardized test to assess the Chinese language proficiency of non-native speakers. HSK Certificates are issued to those who have obtained the required scores. More than 1 million people have taken the HSK test in about 150 countries world-wide and the number is growing! Commonly known as the “Mandarin Language Proficiency Test”, HSK is the “ticket” to academic study in Chinese Universities and job markets in China for foreigners.

Test Structure of HSK
HSK is a standardized international Chinese proficiency test, taking non-native speakers as its object, and directed at examining students’ capability in applying Chinese language in their studies, personal life and work. The examination consists of two independent parts; a written test and an oral test. The written test is comprised of six levels (Level 1-6). The oral test is comprised of three levels (Elementary, Intermediate, Advanced).
