CAMP DESCRIPTION

We are thrilled to announce the comeback of our Chinese Language and Cultural Immersive camp. This summer, let your child experience the best of China—practicing Mandarin, embracing rich cultural traditions, exploring breathtaking landscapes, and taking on thrilling outdoor activities, all in a fun and immersive way.

CAMP DETAILS

  • Date: August 3rd to 17th, 2025 (15 days)
  • Location: Yangshuo, China
  • Price: $3800 per student (Transportation between departure city and Yangshuo is not included)
  • Age Group: 8+ years old

WHY YANGSHUO

Nestled in Southwest China, Yangshuo is one of the top destinations in China for international travelers. It is famous for its breathtaking scenery like towering limestone peaks, crystal clear rivers, and solutional caves that are part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. But it’s not just about the views! Your child will meet ethnic minorities, stroll through ancient streets, harvest tea leaves, and bond with local families. Yangshuo is the perfect place to learn and explore.

    • • 24/7 Supervision: A Toronto Mandarin School teacher will accompany students throughout the trip, ensuring their safety and well-being. A host teacher in China will also provide additional guidance and support.
    • • Safe and Comfortable Accommodation: Students will stay in well-maintained campus hotels, providing a secure and relaxing environment.
    • • Nutritious & Authentic Meals: Each day, students will enjoy healthy and delicious Chinese meals with a variety of flavors and fresh ingredients to keep them energized.
    • • Comprehensive Safety Measures: Trained staff, emergency contacts, and safety protocols are in place to ensure a worry-free experience for parents.

PAYMENT

  • Full payment (tuition & registration fees) must be paid before the camp starts.
  • $25 administrative charge will apply to each non-sufficient funds cheque.
  • New students will be charged a one-time, non-refundable registration fee of $60/family.

CANCELLATION/REFUND/CREDIT

  • Cancellation must be submitted in writing; telephone requests will not be honored.
  • Requests to cancel the camp registration must be received before June 1.
  • A $50 administration fee will be charged for each refund. If the refund is recorded as school credit, the administration fee will be waived.
  • School credit is valid for 2 years and can be used for any programs within Toronto Mandarin School.
  • No refund/credit will be granted for occasional absence once the camp starts.

*Toronto Mandarin School reserves the right of final explanations.
