COURSE DESCRIPTION

Call out all 5-6 year olds who are fluent Mandarin speakers, enjoy listening to stories and acting them out. This program offers a unique blend of storytelling, story creation, and acting, providing a new way to help young children develop interests for learning Mandarin, stimulate their imagination, and build self-confidence. Our experienced teacher ensures that classes are fun, dramatic, interactive, and engaging. They will build a magic “Treasure Box” of words and phrases together. Students will complete weekly homework and be assessed through their participation in drama activities and final showcases. Performance showcases provide opportunities for students to shine on stage.

  • Class Time: Saturday morning, 9:45 am-11:45 am
  • Location: 211 Steeles Ave. E (Bayview/Steeles E) @ Brebeuf College School
  • Class Size: 16 students
  • Teacher to Student Ratio: 1:8
  • Registration Start Date: March 1st, for new school year

PLACEMENT ASSESSMENT

  • A FREE placement assessment will be offered to all new students to ensure they will be placed in the right level.
  • Toronto Mandarin School reserves the right to request a student to repeat a course if necessary.

TRIAL CLASS

  • One-hour free trial class is available upon request. Please contact us .

PAYMENT

  • Full payment (tuition & registration fees) must be paid before the class starts.
  • $25 administrative charge will apply to each non-sufficient funds cheque.
  • New students will be charged a one-time, non-refundable registration fee of $60/family.

CANCELLATION/REFUND/CREDIT

  • 2-weeks written notice is required for cancellation.
  • Refund will apply to the untaken lessons after cancellation, excluding notice period. All refunds will be subject to a $50 administration fee. The registration fee is non-refundable.
  • If refund is recorded as school credit, administration fee will be waived.
  • If a student will be absent for more than 3 consecutive classes, the missed classes can be saved as school credit only if a written notice is provided 2 weeks prior to missing the first class.
  • A full refund (or credit) will be given to students if there are cancellations or changes initiated by the school. There are no refunds for weather-related cancellations.
  • School credit is valid for 2 years and can be used for any programs within Toronto Mandarin School.

MAKEUP LESSON

  • No free make-up lesson is provided, but weekly learning materials will be provided upon request.
